Ciao! My name is Vanna and my Gram has Alzheimer's disease. My brothers and sister have been using their individual talents to assist Gram and the rest of the family. It’s known as ‘pitching in’ and I’m eager to do whatever I can as well.
I
love singing and I’ve been told that I take after Gram in that department.
She has a beautiful voice and for a number of years, she was a member
of her church choir. Gram loves hymns and practically everything else
ever written.
I’ve written out the lyrics to some of the songs Gram taught us. Whenever she gets to feeling a bit blue and discouraged, I start humming a bar or two of her personal favorites and she joins in. I’ve included the songs here so that we don’t ever forget the words or the special person who introduced them to us. Go ahead and print them off if you’d like.
